On 23rd June, 2026, H.E. Guo Haiyan, Ambassador of China to Kenya, met with Hon. William Kabogo Gitau, Cabinet Secretary for Information, Communications and the Digital Economy of Kenya.

  The two sides agreed to jointly implement the important consensus reached by the two Heads of State, strengthen bilateral exchanges, explore cooperation potential in areas such as digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and advance mutually beneficial cooperation in the digital economy to deliver more tangible outcomes.
