From now to December 31, 2026, the Embassy of China in Kenya exempts all applicants who apply for short-term visas (stay in China for no more than 180 days) from fingerprints collection.

  Fingerprints are still collected in accordance with regulations for visa applicants such as D, J1, Q1, S1, X1 and Z who need to apply for residence documents after entry.
