On January 13, Ambassador Guo Haiyan visited the Nairobi Rivers Regeneration Project implemented by China Energy Engineering Corporation (CEEC). She reviewed the construction progress of key work areas, including the newly-built sewage trunk sewer line, Kamukunji Recreational Park, and met with the project management team at the site to discuss the implementation of safety measures and quality control practices.

  Ambassador Guo fully acknowledged the enterprise’s positive contributions to promoting green development, supporting Kenya’s economic growth, creating local employment opportunities, and improving people’s livelihoods. She urged the company to continue operating in full compliance with laws and regulations, further strengthen safety awareness, safeguard employees’ legitimate rights and interests, and deliver high-quality projects with higher standards and stricter requirements，so as to demonstrate the responsibility of Chinese enterprises and contribute to Kenya’s national development goals, as well as to the building of China–Kenya community with a shared future in the new era.
