On June 1, H.E. Amb. Guo Haiyan visited Kisii County, met with H.E. Governor Paul Arati and communicated with local people.

Amb. Guo briefed the outcomes of President’s state visit to China. She stressed that China remains committed to work closely with Kenya to implement the important consensus reached by the two Heads of State and to promote practical cooperation in various fields between local governments.

Governor Arati said that the results of China-Kenya cooperation have greatly benefited the Kenyan people. The county government is willing to learn more from China's development experience, strengthen exchanges and cooperation, and attract more Chinese companies to invest in Kisii.
