On May 26, H.E. Amb. Guo Haiyan paid a courtesy call on Hon. Nelson Koech, Chairman of the Defence, Intelligence & Foreign Relations Committee of Kenya's National Assembly.

The two sides exchanged views on the China-Kenya relationship,  exchange of visits between the two legislatures and other issues of mutual interests. Both sides agreed that President Ruto’s recent State Visit to China was a great success. Under the guidance of the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, China and Kenya will work jointly to promote practical cooperation in various fields to benefit the people of the two countries.
