On March 27, H.E. Ambassador Guo Haiyan attended the   China (Chongqing)-Kenya Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchange Meeting and delivered speech at the event.

The events were also attended by H.E. Hu Henghua, Mayor of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government; Hon. Lee Kinyanjui, Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Investments, Trade and Industry (MITI); Mr. John Mwendwa, CEO of KenInvest; Dr. Erick Rutto, President of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI); and Mr. Njoroge Muchiri, Deputy Governor of Nairobi City County.

In her remarks, Amb. Guo highlighted the Global Development Initiative, the Global Civilization Initiative and the concept of green development She encouraged stronger subnational  cooperation between the two countries to jointly build an even closer China-Kenya community with a shared future in the new era. 

On March 26, Amb. Guo attend “Land-Sea: China-Africa Ecological Civilization Exchange” event and delivered speech.
