On March 6th, the Chinese Embassy in Kenya held the China-Kenya Women’s Day celebration party. Ambassador Guo Haiyan attended and delivered a speech. About 100 participants, including Mr. Hassan Omar, Secretary Genera l and female party members of United Democratic Alliance of Kenya, and female representatives of Chinese enterprises and Chinese community attended the event.

Amb. Guo extended festive greetings to the distinguished guests, speaking highly of the contributions made by women from both countries to their respective countries’ development and to the global cause of women. Amb. Guo expressed her hope for women to join hands and contribute their strength to further promote women's equality, progress and development while deepening the friendly relations between China and Kenya. 

The participants enjoyed the cultural performances meticulously prepared by both sides, experienced traditional Chinese cultures such as costumes, calligraphy and tea art, and danced the characteristic Kenyan "Train Dance" together, in a friendly, joyful, and warm atmosphere.
